Good Beer Larry is a South Florida-based beer instructor, craft beer aficionado and beer tasting extraordinaire. Over the past 17 years, he has visited over 250 brewpubs, breweries, beer bars and beer festivals. Larry brings 6,000 years of beer history alive through an engaging presentation which includes an eclectic collection of beer memorabilia. Larry will present the “History of Beer and the Rise of Civilization”.
4:30 P.M. Michell Sanchez, Latin House Burger & Taco Bar
Food truck pioneer Chef M successfully made the crossover to full-service restaurant with the opening of Latin House Burger & Taco Bar which is bringing a different feel to Kendall. Offering an eclectic mix of dishes infused with Latin flair, no two meals are identical and no two experiences are the same. Located at 9565 SW 72nd Street, the best seller right now is the Tomahawk Ribeye Steak. Chef M prepares a tiger shrimp ceviche!

Miami’s only artisan sausage maker, Proper Sausages opened its doors in Miami Shores in March 2013. The shop features a wide variety of fresh sausages, house made bacon, and specialized cuts of beef, pork and poultry, along with a beer & wine section focused on artisan brewers and international vintners. Proper Sausages, located at 9722 NE 2nd Avenue, is owned by husband and wife team, Freddy and Danielle Kaufmann. Get ready as Fred prepares Florida raised Wagyu short ribs!
2:00 P.M. Jorgie Ramos – Barley & Swine Gastropub
Barley & Swine is refining the art of pairing beer with food. The neighborhood boutique gastropub, located at 9059 SW 73 Court, opened in June 2013. Menu options include everything from pork belly to popcorn ice cream, all under the direction of chef/owner Jorgie Ramos. On Sunday, he'll be making wild boar baby back ribs.

Owned and operated by Chef George Patti, the M.E.A.T. Eatery and Taproom is a cutting edge restaurant in the Upper Florida Keys. It smokes its own meats, makes its own sausage in-house, has high quality burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork and even lobster rolls as a Gourmet Fast Food establishment.
